Here is where my creativity shines! I started my journey with landscape photography and have developed a keen eye for beautiful backgrounds and vistas. Couple that with my ability to bring studio lights on location and you have a recipe for a truly unique photo shoot every time out!

I hail from West Seattle but will travel to all greater Seattle areas. With me I bring my energy, unique eye, studio lights, and my partner to help assist. The more eyes on the subject the greater chance we have catching stray hairs, blinking eyes, wrinkled shirts etc. Once the photos are taken I use my knowledge in the latest Adobe products such as Photoshop to make your photos really pop.

What to Expect

I first like to talk and get an idea of what your finished product needs to be. I will describe those products in detail below. Is it a head shot for a dance or acting agency? Is it a family portrait? Are you a musician or an athlete? What type of wardrobe will you be wearing/bringing? These will all help shape the experience to deliver exactly what you need.

Second, a place to meet. We can meet at your house, at your favorite park, at my establishment. You're in the driver seat here unless you don't want to be. I have been doing this for a while and have no problem taking the reins and steering us on course. I like to sit and discuss the shoot for a few minutes before hand to make sure we are all on the same page. Communication is key and I want to make sure you feel you're receiving exactly what you have hired us for.

The average shoot time varies greatly depending on the amount of locations and wardrobe changes. The exception would be a simple headshot for website purposes or business cards. This shoot would take no more than 45 minutes. Remember you're in the drivers seat so if you have time constraints we will work with you to expedite the service. Conversely, if you would really like to take your time and explore your options, we can do that to.

After the photo shoot is completed, I will send proofs of images we took within 48 hours. I will discard the images that absolutely won't work and let you choose your 5 images from the many I send to fully edit. Post processing is just as important as the taking of the actual photos to me. Therefore, I will not release full rez portrait photos outside of the 5 I have fully edited. I can, however, edit more photos if you choose to purchase additional images ($15 for each additional edit) and I will deliver smaller, 1024x768, tastefully, watermarked photos of the proofs.

Helpful Hints

Dress ready for all and any weather (this is Seattle!!!) Bring warm coats, hats (as long as they won't mess with hair), gloves etc. If you're miserable waiting for setup outside, it will show in your photos! Wear neutral colors like earth tones. Solid colors are better than stripes or dots. Remember your eyes are attracted to the brightest and sharpest things in an image. If you wear bright or white clothing your clothes will wear you instead of you modeling your clothes. Accessories are great as long as they aren't too reflective. Again you want to wear these items, not let them wear you.
